Refunds & Returns Policies

Returns:

New Products(Items/Parts/Accessories):

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and the packaging not damaged.

Used Products(Items/Parts/Accessories):

All used items/parts correctly supplied can not be returned unless stated otherwise. If uncertain, please contact us directly and we will attend to your concern.

Sale and/or Discounted Products

Items marked as discounted or on sale correctly supplied can not be returned unless stated otherwise. If uncertain, please contact us directly and we will assist you in your concern.

Products exempt from returns:

These types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Lubricants, oils, fuels, liquids and aerosol products, correctly supplied cannot be returned.
  • Electrical items like spark plugs, light bulbs, coils, CDI’s, stators, ignitions, tachometers, hour meters etc…


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable).
New and used goods supplied where the part has already been fitted by the customer and removed to return. New and used products that are damaged and not in the same condition as supplied to the customer.
Any item not in its original condition including it’s packaging, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable):


Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and will be paid back into your bank account within 3 working days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Products and/or Discounted Products (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, if a product is marked as on sale and/or discounted then unfortunately it cannot be returned. If uncertain, please contact us directly and we will attend to your concern.

Exchanges (if applicable):

New Products Refunds:
We only replace new products if they were provided from us defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same product, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to: Motobahn Powersports, 7A Protea Way, Durbanville, Western Cape, 7550, South Africa.


Shipping / Courier
To return your product, you should address your product to:

Please AVOID using the Post Office.

We do not accept or take responsibility for returned orders the customer ships to us through the South African Post Office(SAPO). Returns via the Post Office are to unreliable and can take more than 3 months to reach it’s destination. We strongly encourage you to make use of a reputable courier service. You can contact us if you need any assistance in choosing a courier service.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary considerably. Please be patient and if in doubt please contact us.
